today was a full out art by manda day!
it was wonderful.
i got a lot done, like hand making tags
for my jewelry line & hair piece collection!
i was really happy with how they came out!

i also gessoed some old canvas’ for 4 painting projects I’m working on.
I’m using the 2 canvas’ that were for my uncle’s jousting painting
for 2 surprise paintings for 2 different people….
i have to be secretive because well…its a surprise!!!:-)
whenever they get them, i will do a post of progress photos
& the finished product
so you can see what i was working on for these 2 people.
i worked on a new project too this evening…
but ill let that be a surprise for you whenever they are ready to sell!

if you didn’t know yet,
dave and i moved into a new home!
we were living in a REALLY SMALL house…..
like…..REALLY REALLY REALLY SMALL.
it was cute and a great & fun house to live in,
but……..
we pretty much crammed all of my art stuff
& all of his music stuff into one small room.
we had no choice!
this made it really stressful for dave to work on music,
and very hard for me to feel inspired to work on art.
there just wasn’t enough creative space
to spread out or focus on what we were working on!
but now we have moved into a house
that has WAY more space!
we are so stoked about it!!!
dave has his own music room,
and i have my own art room!
dave hates clutter. and so do i.
but when you are an artist…
its pretty much impossible to avoid.
i also like to leave my works in progress the way they are
with all my tools spread out until the project is done.
and now with an art room of my own, i can actually do it
without dave feeling overwhelmed
or having to pack up everything to just pull it all out again the next day!
today I’m dedicating the entire day without any interruptions
on my Art by Manda work!
its few and far between when i get a FULL DAY to just work on my art and crafty projects.
i have several projects I’m working on now…
and I’m cooking up some more ideas of things i want to make and sell!
