birthday extravaganza!

yesterday was my birthday!
dave really out did himself with my birthday this year.:-)
he is so wonderful!

i got a mini shopping spree at the mall of america,
a blue ipod shuffle, he took me out to eat for lunch & dinner,
i got a 90 minute massage,
he took me to the como zoo & conservatory,
and the best part:
he took me to the ann bean mansion bed & breakfast
for a romantic birthday getaway!!!

best. birthday. EVER!!!!!!!!!

he spoils me rotten!
thank you dave for an amazing birthday!!!!! i love you!

NWLC’11 day 3

it was the last day of the conference!
i can’t believe it!
i wish it was another week long.
it has been such a blast and we have learned so much!

we only stayed for the morning session and workshops,
then we headed back to our friends house!

 we got stuck in kansas city traffic for about 2 hours….
it was miserable!
104 degrees + traffic = sad dave and manda.

when we finally got past all of the traffic,
dave drove like this all the way to iowa
since he was so sick of sitting in the car:

 so excited to be home in dassel tomorrow!!!
