we were given the honor to babysit
our good friend’s kids while they went on an overnight romantic getaway!
their kids are so well behaved and fun to be around!

it was SO MUCH FUN!

and dave rocked it!
all he needed was a kiss the cook apron
and a mary poppins bag!

we had pillow fights,
i cooked lunches and dinners,
dave cooked breakfast,
we watched movies,
and we played lots of games indoors and outdoors.
it was a blast!!!

i almost think we had more fun then the kids.:-)

my favorite part was when one of them wanted to pray over our lunch
and she said
“dear god, thank you for dave and amanda.
and thank you for pillow fights.
amen.”

cutest thing in the world!!!

i can’t wait to be parents someday.:-)

its sad but true.
the very last potter.

 we DEFINITELY made it to the midnight showing!

we went with some of our friends
and their kids!

im not gonna lie, im pretty sad that its over!
i guess its because it was like seeing the end of my childhood/teenage years or something…
even though ive grown up and im even married now…
does that make sense?

harry potter came out when my friends and i were around 12 years old,
so we are the same age as the cast.
my friends and i liked to nerd out about it when a new movie or book came out too.
…yeah we were one of those kids. haha
