a year ago, i married my love and best friend.
we had a perfect little $200 wedding – rings, dress, food, and all.
there was nothing traditional about it.
he sang his vows to me and we even accidentally stood on the wrong side of the stage!

all he wanted for his birthday was for me to marry him.:-)
(we married the day after his birthday.)
we skipped the engagement and planned our wedding in 2 weeks.
i wanted him to marry me with a little spoon ring i found with a “D” in it for dave.:-)

i loved it until i lost it in the laundry at the salon i worked at.
when i found it, it started turning my finger blue. so we got a little diamond ring to suit the job.
of course, the picture doesn’t do it justice. its very sparkly and beautiful.:-)

our perfect little wedding has turned into a perfect little marriage.
God has really blessed us and we center our lives around Him.

to celebrate our wonderful anniversary, we just spent all day relaxing and spending time together.:-)
dave took me on a date fishing!

& now for year 2…..:-)
